What documentation will be needed to prove the existence of an IBM?

IBMs can only be credited for activities that have been ongoing - they are not for one-offs or planned initiatives in the future. As such, you should be able to produce three areas of proof to demonstrate the presence of an IBM.

1. Last Year's Financials. Showing total revenue and a breakdown of the revenue streams against which the IBM applies.
2. Information on the beneficial product/service itself.  eg studies, research, certificates etc.
3. Evidence of outcomes. This applies if the outcomes are being identified and tracked or analysed.
