How do we calculate our B Corp support time assumptions?

Loosely speaking, there are five areas that affect how much time we are likely to need to allocate to companies going through the B Corp journey:

A Note On Finding The Resourcing Sweet Spot

Some clients require more external support than others.

Whatever level that is, we always seek a sweet spot of productive tension where we meet the client's need for resource but balance that provision alongside doing it with them, as opposed to them.

This is in order to maximise:

1. retention of working knowledge about B Corp and its expectations
2. widespread ownership and commitment
3. fun and a sense of achievement
4. cost effectiveness, i.e. so you are not paying for more help than you actually need

Finding this sweet spot will require regular check-ins to respond to any felt need that we should be leaning in or out.

We always recommend a starting point that, if it is not quite right, is not quite right because we need to dial up our time allocation a bit rather than down: this is more effective and cheaper.
